Job summary

Wati is seeking a Senior Agentic Engineer to join the Enterprise team. You will own core backend features end-to-end for a multi-tenant SaaS platform serving thousands of businesses across messaging channels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend skills.
• Experience designing APIs, data models, and async workflows for multi-tenant SaaS.
• Ability to debug complex issues across services, queues, and databases in production.
• Experience using AI coding agents as a core part of development (frontend changes when needed).
• Knowledge of .NET/C#, MongoDB, or Google Cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend features for a multi-tenant SaaS platform (WhatsApp Business messaging, analytics).
• Own technical designs and drive cross-repo coordination across backend, frontend, messaging services, and billing; use AI coding agents to implement frontend changes when needed.
• Debug complex production issues across distributed systems (async jobs, webhook pipelines, multi-tenant data flows).
• Build and use AI agents to accelerate engineering workflows (requirements, code generation, review, testing, debugging, docs).
• Collaborate with PM, CS, and international teams in English.
