Job summary

TEKsystems in Hong Kong is seeking an AI / Java Developer to support a Private Banking and Trust transformation. The role is split 50/50 between Java development and Agentic AI, focusing on KYC, payments and workflow automation.

You will design and deploy Agentic AI solutions, develop backend services in Java, integrate AI into a new Trust platform, and ensure governance, security and regulatory compliance in a production environment using CI/CD, cloud, and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

3+ years' experience in software development or AI engineering.
Hands-on experience building AI agents / Agentic AI solutions.
Experience deploying production-ready, scalable enterprise solutions.
Knowledge of LLMs, AI orchestration, REST APIs and vector databases.
Understanding of AI security, governance and compliance.
Financial services or regulated industry experience preferred.
Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin required.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy Agentic AI solutions for KYC, payments and operational workflows.
Develop backend applications and services using Java.
Integrate AI capabilities into a new in-house Trust platform.
Build AI-powered workflows using LLMs, AI orchestration, APIs and vector databases.
Deploy scalable AI solutions into enterprise production environments.
Ensure solutions meet AI governance, security and regulatory requirements.
Work with CI/CD, cloud technologies and DevSecOps practices.
