Job summary

Manulife Financial Corporation in Hong Kong & Macau is seeking a senior leader to drive the Agency channel, delivering sales growth and recruitment targets while expanding digital adoption and serving High Net Worth and Mainland Chinese Visitor segments.

You will collaborate with product, finance and marketing leaders to design differentiated products, incentives and service tools, and to ensure compliant, high-quality delivery across the agency network.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of meeting the financial needs of customers by providing insurance and protection products and services solutions.
• Implement effective agency distribution models and strategies to grow a profitable business.
• Ability to engage all levels of the organization to provide the products and services to the distribution channels.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Successful track record of growing an insurance business within a relatively mature market environment.
• Being able to recruit, motivate and retain high caliber, high performing professionals
• Developing, fostering and inspiring a common culture (performance and customer orientated) and collaboration across the organization
• A progressive attitude with a natural curiosity and drive to identify new ideas or opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales and recruitment targets for agency channel in line with strategic plans and objectives.
• Partner with product lines, marketing and Operations leaders to create positive differentiation through offering appropriate products, compensation, operational support and tools to the agency channel.
• Develop and implement strategies to differentiate Manulife. This includes leading the digital tools adoption, recruitment profiles for Agency and other vital initiatives.
• Lead the Agency Contracting and Agency Recruitment teams to recommend sales compensation and other incentives for agency channel.
• Manage the necessary people, property and other infrastructure required to facilitate the agency channel.
• Partner with related teams in the company to drive HNW and MCV initiatives enhancing our service model to meet the needs of these target segments.
