Occupational Safety & Health Council in Hong Kong is seeking an accounting professional to manage daily routines including vouchers, reimbursements, and payables/receivables. You will prepare bank payments, maintain cash records, and reconcile statements, with ad-hoc projects as assigned.
The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or above in Accounting, strong bilingual communication, and 2–3 years of accounting experience.
Handle daily routine accounting duties, including processing vouchers, staff reimbursements, accounts payable & receivable process
Prepare bank payments, maintain cash records; and reconcile bank statements
Perform ad-hoc accounting projects and other duties as assigned by the Council
Grade E/Level 2 or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language, English Language (“Syllabus B” before 2007) and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination or Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, or equivalent;
Diploma or above in Accounting or equivalent;
Good communication skills including written and spoken Chinese & English;
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.;
Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite would be an advantage;
Good English and Chinese (Changjie/Quick/Pinyin) typing skill;
Able to handle multi-task, self-motivated with good interpersonal skills / telephone manner;
Preferences will be given to those with 2-3 years solid working experience in accounting;
Immediate availability is preferred.
The appointee would normally work on a 5-day week basis. Successful appointee will be employed on contract terms.
