The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) is seeking an Executive Assistant II at the Chai Wan campus to support daily accounting and administrative duties. You will process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accounting records while helping prepare management information.
Responsibilities include assisting in budget preparation, maintaining asset registers, handling inquiries from operating units, and performing ad hoc tasks.
(a) Handle daily accounting operations, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and updating accounting records;
(b) Assist in preparing management reports and statistics;
(c) Assist in budget preparation and maintain various accounting and asset registers;
(d) Handle enquiries from operating units and provide timely accounting information; and
(e) Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
(a) (i) Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent;OR
(ii) Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE);OR
(iii) Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Mathematics / Project Yi Jin; OR
(iv) A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies;OR
(v) A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above.
* Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification.
^ "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects.
(b) Proficiency in the use of computer software applications, such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing;
(c) Good communication and interpersonal skills;
(d) Ability to work independently and be a good team player; and
(e) Relevant working experience in accounting will be a definite advantage.
(1) The post is at the rank of Executive Assistant II.
(2) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and/or on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(3) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(4) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan campus.
