Job summary

HR Plus in Hong Kong is seeking an Accounting Officer to join a renowned fashion retail group. The role involves managing daily Accounts Payable records and processing timely payments, while supporting month-end closes and treasury tasks.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma in accounting, with at least 3 years’ experience, preferably in retail. Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English is required; a 5-day work week is offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Accounting or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' commercial experience, retail experience preferred.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, analytical mind and problem-solving skills, deadline-oriented, team player, good communication.
• Working knowledge of Yonyou NC system is a plus.
• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

• Handle daily record of Accounts Payable transactions

• Support month end closing such as review system records and reconcile accounts
• Support treasury functions including cashflow and handling issues with banks
• Assist in various ad hoc assignments when necessary

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or above holder in Accounting or related discipline
• Minimum 3 year's commercial experience, preferably gained from retail industry
• Proactive, detail-oriented, analytical mind and problem-solving skills, deadline-oriented, team player, good communication skill
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of Yonyou NC system is a plus
• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
• More experience may be considered as Accountant
