Job summary

Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited is seeking an Accountant to support tax, accounting and reporting functions in Hong Kong. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields and at least 3 years’ experience.

Candidate should be proficient in English and Chinese and familiar with Word and Excel, with strong detail orientation and interpersonal skills. The successful applicant will prepare HK Profits Tax Returns, tax computations, financial statements and liaise with auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years’ taxation, accounting or auditing experience.
• Student member of professional accounting qualifications preferred e.g. HKICPA / ACCA / CPA (Aust.)
• Good command of spoken & written English & Chinese.
• Familiar with PC software e.g. MS Word & Excel.
• Detail-minded, organized with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle Hong Kong Profits Tax Return.
• Prepare Hong Kong Profits Tax Computation / holdover of provisional tax.
• Prepare financial statement and statutory accounts in accordance with HKFRS.
• Deal with external auditors.
• Handle donation requests from other departments.
• Monitor the master control of tax compliance work.
• Assist in Pillar 2 calculation and filing.
