Job summary

Exotica Food Concepts Limited is seeking an Accountant / Operations & Admin Assistant to support growing operations. The role blends accounting, inventory management and operational coordination to enable the founder and sales team to focus on business development.

You will handle daily bookkeeping, monitor inventory, assist with orders and supplier coordination, and prepare reports for the external accountant.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
• Experience in food distribution, F&B, inventory control, or import operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Good command of English and Cantonese.
• Familiarity with Excel and accounting software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate accounting records and filing.
• Assist with purchase orders, import documentation, and supplier coordination.
• Monitor inventory levels, batch/lot tracking, and expiry dates for sauce and meat products.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and accounts receivable.
• Prepare documents and reports for the external accountant.
• Assist with basic HR and general admin tasks.
• Coordinate with warehouses / 3PL partners and support daily operational needs.
• Provide operational support related to product trials and restaurant accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate accounting records and filing

About you

• Experience in accounting and bookkeeping
• Experience in food distribution, F&B, inventory control, or import operations is highly preferred
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese preferred)
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) is an advantage
• Interest in the food industry is a plus
