Job summary

Get Started HK Limited is hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting enquiries from SME clients. You will explain accounting and tax requirements and coordinate documents for accounting and audit work, working closely with our accounting and audit teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of HK accounting experience, a degree in Accounting/Business/Finance, and strong English and Cantonese. HKICPA membership is an advantage; you must be discreet, organized and communicative.

• At least 4 years of hands-on accounting experience in Hong Kong.
• Good command of English and Cantonese, written and spoken.
• Ability to explain accounting matters clearly to clients.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting enquiries from SME corporate clients. You will explain accounting and tax requirements, and follow up on documents needed for accounting and audit work. You will work closely with our accounting and audit teams, with technical support from senior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Remind clients of profits tax filing deadlines.
• Explain the documents required for accounting and audit work and coordinate their collection.
• Prepare responses to client enquiries with technical input from the senior bookkeeping team.
• Liaise with the IRD, auditors and financial institutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to keep client matters on track.
• Handle general department administration as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of hands‑on accounting experience in Hong Kong.
• HKICPA membership is an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
• Ability to explain accounting matters clearly to clients without an accounting background.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Monthly salary: HK$26,000–HK$33,000, based on your years of full‑time work experience.
