Job summary

Medicom Inc. (Asia Pacific) is seeking an accounting professional in Hong Kong to manage group accounting, financial reporting, consolidation and cash-flow forecasting.

You will support system implementation, controls, audits, budgeting and tax compliance, working with internal teams and external auditors to drive process improvements and timely reporting. Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin are required; knowledge of Japanese or Korean is a regional advantage.

Qualifications

• 3 years or above relevant working experience, preferably with audit experience.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin (Knowledge on Japanese or Korean is an advantage for regional management).
• Self-motivated, detailed oriented and willing to take challenges.

Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting, financial reporting, treasury functions and perform daily accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly consolidation, month-end closing including maintain accounts schedules for the group.
• Perform business review with analytics and performance insights.
• Prepare cash flow forecast at group level and assist in cash management and related activities.
• Support in account system implementation, integrate business process and financial controls.
• Liaise and work closely with internal departments for operation supports, financial projects and process improvements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in annual business budgeting, forecasting, audit processes, and tax compliance activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Acquainted with computer software, knowledge of SAP, and excellent EXCEL skills
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin (Knowledge on Japanese or Korean is an advantage for regional management)
• Knowledge in Power BI is a plus
• Self-motivated, detailed oriented and willing to take challenges
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Accountant
