Job summary

Sunny Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Hong Kong office. This role will support the accounting and financial operations of several Hong Kong entities, including holding and trading companies, with exposure to cross-border finance within a Hong Kong-listed multinational manufacturing group.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of accounting experience, familiarity with HK tax filings, and SAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in Hong Kong.
• Familiar with Hong Kong accounting practices and tax filing requirements.
• Experience using SAP is preferred.
• Holder of HKICPA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations for multiple Hong Kong entities.
• Perform bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist with Hong Kong tax filings and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Support ad hoc finance projects and other accounting-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations for multiple Hong Kong entities.
• Perform bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist with Hong Kong tax filings and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and internal stakeholders when required.
• Support ad hoc finance projects and other accounting-related assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2-3 years of overall accounting experience, including at least 1 year of accounting experience in Hong Kong.
• Familiar with Hong Kong accounting practices and tax filing requirements.
• Experience using SAP is preferred.
• Holder of a recognized Hong Kong accounting qualification (e.g., HKICPA or equivalent) is preferred.
• Candidates familiar with Zhejiang business culture are preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and a proactive working attitude.
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred).
