At Sandwell Council, we’re making changes to our waste collection service.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented individual to develop content that will help residents understand why the service is changing and drive behaviour change to reduce waste and increase recycling rates.
From filming videos to writing stories for newsletters, you’ll be planning and creating content for our external and internal communications channels.
Every day will be different as you engage widely with residents, councillors, our waste contractor and community representatives to gain insight and create content that will resonate and have real impact.
It’s a really exciting time to be joining Sandwell Council. After a period of rapid improvement we’re still changing the way we work and have set our sights on becoming an outstanding council.
You’ll be instrumental to delivering a key council priority, joining the corporate communications team at the heart of the council driving forward change in the council’s ‘engine room’.
