Responsibilities:

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in installation, cabling design, and equipment specification? Join our team and be part of an industry that is driving sustainable solutions in water treatment and process engineering. Help shape innovative projects that support environmental efficiency and industrial sustainability, making a real impact on the future of engineering.

  1. Installation Design: Develop and oversee low-voltage electrical installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  2. Cabling Design: Design and specify electrical cabling layouts, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety in industrial environments.

  3. Specification & Procurement: Select and specify electrical components, ensuring suitability for project requirements.

  4. Supplier Coordination: Manage installation suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring smooth procurement, delivery, and testing.

  5. Compliance & Standards: Ensure that electrical installations meet UK regulations and industry best practices.

  6. Commissioning & Testing: Oversee on-site commissioning, including electrical testing and troubleshooting.

  7. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including project managers, automation specialists, and R&D teams.

Qualifications:
  1. Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline).

  2. Experience: Solid experience in electrical installation design, cabling design, and equipment specification, ideally within an industrial environment.

  3. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical systems, control panels (MCCs), and industrial power distribution.

  4. Software Proficiency: Experience with Trimble/Amtech, E-Plan, AutoCAD/Revit, and Microsoft Office.

  5. Stakeholder Management: Ability to liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams, ensuring successful project completion.

  6. Problem-Solving: Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning electrical systems.
