Science Teacher - Canterbury
Academics are currently working with a school in Canterbury who are seeking a qualified and passionate Science Teacher to join their secondary school. The school aims to provide a supportive and engaging environment for their students, inspiring them to unlock their full potential and achieve academic excellence.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality science lessons to students of all abilities
* Plan and prepare lesson plans in line with the national curriculum and school's curriculum
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support when needed
* Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
* Contribute to the development and improvement of the science curriculum and resources
* Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events as required
* Attend meetings and training sessions as required by the school
Requirements:
* A recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree in science
* A strong passion for teaching and inspiring students
* Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
* DBS certificate (Enhanced Disclosure) which is on the Update Service or be prepared to get one through Academics Ltd.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The school would also consider part time teachers too.
