The Investment Director for Portfolio at Better Society Capital represents a unique leadership opportunity within the investment team to influence how the company manages its portfolio performance, allocates capital for impact, and supports internal teams across ventures, properties, and lending. This role combines strategic leadership with hands on operational delivery, offering ample collaboration with various organisational departments and senior governance bodies, such as the Investment Committee. The candidate will be expected to define strategies to grow capital, achieve notable financial and social outcomes across the UK, and lean into BSC's culture of continuous learning and development. By leveraging a combination of on-the-job experiences, tailored training, and committee engagement, the director will shape the social investment landscape. • Lead management of portfolio to deliver financial, impact, and systems change goals.
• Collaborate with asset class teams and the Investment Committee to align investments with strategic targets.
