Great opportunity to work as a StoreKeeper for our client's big logistics company! Staffline is recruiting StoreKeepers in Thornton.
Pay is £13.56 - £15.01 per hour. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday. Hours are 7am to 7pm.
As a StoreKeeper your duties include:
- Operate safely within the store, following all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Respond promptly to material requests from engineers, ensuring accurate issue of stock.
- Pick and prepare orders for engineer collections and operational requirements.
- Receive deliveries of materials, check against delivery notes and log accurately in systems.
- Take responsibility for waste streams, segregate and dispose of waste in line with company processes.
- Keep the store tidy, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels, identify gaps, low stock, or discrepancies and escalating to the line manager.
- Support the Inventory Controller and Inventory Planner by providing accurate stock information.
- Work collaboratively with other store colleagues and depot teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

- Familiarity with stock control processes and basic inventory systems.
- Ability to work accurately and methodically, with attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and team‑working skills.
- Good communication skills to engage with engineers and depot colleagues.
- Physically fit, as there is some heavy lifting.
