- Develop and maintain product software, web interfaces, and management systems.
- Design, integrate, test, and document new features and products.
- Prototype new functionality and extend core components (e.g. caching, HTTPS interception, device detection).
- Lead product/component design and set engineering standards.
- Shape platform architecture and select third-party components.
- Contribute to open-source projects (Squid, ISC Kea, nginx) and address security issues.
- Drive DevOps practices to speed up delivery.
- Build expertise in networking, caching, and bandwidth optimization.
- Track market/tech trends and support product direction.
- Solve complex technical challenges (e.g. HTTPS caching, reverse-engineering content delivery systems).
- Strong Linux experience
- Strong Python experience
- Solid understanding of web applications (HTML/Javascript/CSS)
- Familiarity with a range of Networking protocols
- Up to £80,000 Per Annum (depending on experience)
