Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying suitable profile opportunities in target media, including national, broadcast, practice group trade, regional, and legal media titles.
- Managing and leveraging relationships with target reporters to secure opportunities for partners.
- Scheduling and organizing media briefings for partners, preparing them for interviews, and advising on press response techniques.
- Generating and pitching story ideas to relevant media outlets to secure positive coverage.
- Writing press releases, pitches, articles, and other communication materials for media use.
- Researching, developing, and writing story angles to enhance newsworthiness of firm developments such as office openings, major wins, or new partners.
Key Attributes Required
- Public Relations experience within a law firm or agency working with legal clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-organized with a consistent delivery of high-quality work.
- A supportive team player with experience fostering collaboration.
- Engaging, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
