Job summary
A leading fabricator in construction based in Mildenhall seeks a forklift driver to assist with daily warehouse tasks. The role involves driving a forklift, unloading deliveries, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring accurate documentation. Candidates should have warehouse experience, familiarity with forklift operation, and the ability to perform heavy lifting. This position is essential in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining cleanliness within the storage areas.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience, particularly in a distribution environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is essential; certification is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role, demonstrating physical stamina and strength.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking duties as a forklift truck driver.
- Unloading deliveries and checking items received.
- Ensuring that both factories are supplied with stock and topping up as necessary.
- Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately on a daily basis.
- Undertaking all related housekeeping duties to keep the store areas clean and tidy.
