Job summary
A leading recruitment agency in Peterborough is looking for Production Operatives to join a modern fruit and vegetable production site. This role involves trimming, grading, and packing various fruits and vegetables. No experience is required as full training will be provided. Skills
Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives to work for a leading fruit and vegetable production site in Peterborough.
This is a modern site with brand-new facilities, clean changing rooms, and plenty of opportunities for progression.
The rates of pay are:
- Days: £12.21 per hour
- Nights: £12.51 per hour
Overtime is available and paid at:
- Days: £15.26 per hour
- Nights: £15.64 per hour
You will be working 12-hour shifts. The hours of work are:
- Days - 6am to 6pm, 4 days on and 4 days off
- Nights - 6pm to 6am, Monday to Thursday
Transport is provided from Peterborough at 4 different locations for £8 per day to take you there and back.
As a Production Operative, your duties include:
- Trimming
- Grading
- Packing fruit and vegetables (Grapes, Citrus, Melons, Pineapples, Courgettes etc.) stacking or tripping boxes
You may also be required to lift pallets of grapes and be responsible for ensuring that workers have enough product on the line.
Our ideal Production Operative has a good eye for detail and is happy to work in a fast-paced food preparation environment.
You must be able to work 12-hour shifts and there may be some heavy lifting involved.
No previous experience is necessary as a Production Operative/Warehouse Operative as full training will be provided.
