An educational organization in the Ribble Valley is seeking Face to Face Tutors to support young people with various educational needs, including SEND and SEMH. The suitable candidate will be empathetic, patient, and capable of crafting individual learning plans. This role offers flexible part-time hours, competitive pay ranging from £25 to £30 per hour, and opportunities for professional development.
Face to Face Tutors needed to provide core subject (Maths, English, or Science) support for Young People with SEND, SEMH and other Additional Educational Needs.
Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support.
We are looking for Tutors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.
The successful tutor will need to be patient, empathetic and be able to create/deliver learning plans on a 1 to 1 basis. A therapeutic approach may also be needed to re-engage students with their learning.
The aim is to provide the pupil with structure in their daily routine and to continue their educational development, ultimately helping them return to an educational setting.
We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN (Special Education Needs) / SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health).
This role will involve providing Maths and English tuition to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.
