Location: Guildford, Surrey
Salary: £35k - £40k
We are currently looking for a knowledgeable and driven Health and Safety Advisor to join our clients team. This role is crucial in supporting compliance across their operations, with a strong emphasis on PUWER, LOLER, and ISO standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Provide competent and practical advice on all health and safety matters, ensuring compliance with PUWER and LOLER regulations.
- Support the development and ongoing management of integrated management systems aligned with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety).
- Carry out audits, inspections, and risk assessments across various the company.
- Lead on incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the business.
- Deliver training and awareness sessions to operational teams.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) - essential.
- Solid experience and practical understanding of PUWER and LOLER regulations.
- Proven experience with one or more of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Strong auditing, reporting, and communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to influence change and drive safety improvements.
