Job summary

A medical devices organization is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales in the orthopaedic/spinal market. You will be responsible for regional sales and developing relationships with key physicians. Candidates should have a BSc/MSc and at least 5 years of sales experience in medical devices. Overview

Are you ambitious and determined and looking for a career within the orthopaedic/spinal marketplace? If you have experience of hospital/surgical-based medical devices sales, this may be for you. I am recruiting for a well-established medical devices organisation who have expanded their portfolio into spinal surgery. The time is now to add value to their team and continue the growth with them as a Business Development Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for regional sales results and Business development for the product portfolio.
  • Identify, cultivate and maintain relationships with key physicians.
  • Weekly activity reporting to the Business Manager.
  • Collaborating with the UK National Sales Manager and Area Managers as needed for sales-related activities, and achievement of specific goals.
  • Responsible for competitive analysis within the territory.
  • Participate in national and regional conventions.
  • Requires travel (local and overnight stays) to customers, conventions, major meetings, key physicians or for additional training.
  • Monthly activity reports.
Qualifications
  • BSc/MSc or correlated experience.
  • Experience with spinal, orthopaedic and/or endoscopic surgery products preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in surgical/device/capital sales.
  • Independent, can-do attitude.
  • Must be able to drive with a clean license.
