Qualifications

  • Strong background in manufacturing maintenance.
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant equipment.
  • Proficiency in using mobile devices and CAFM systems for maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant equipment.
  • Identify and manage risks to improve machinery performance.
  • Conduct fault finding and preventative maintenance on machinery.

Skills

Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-2-3, 18th Edition or equivalent)
Mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds or equivalent)
Experience with 3-phase motors, drives, inverters
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems expertise
PLC diagnostics and repair skills
Ability to write risk assessments
Contractor supervision experience

Education

Recognised or time-served apprenticeship
NVQ Level 2 in Electrical and Mechanical disciplines
