A national infrastructure staffing firm is seeking a Tower Technician in Birmingham, England. The role involves maintaining and installing wireless cell sites, ensuring safety standards, and requires climbing. Candidates should have at least 2 years’ experience with cell towers and ownership of telecom tools. This position involves travel and offers opportunities for skilled technicians.

Anistar Technologies is seeking a Tower Technician to perform maintenance and installation of wireless cell sites.
Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with antennas, necessary cabling and grounding, and GPS equipment
- Electrical installation and testing
- Site maintenance such as painting, equipment maintenance, and clean-up and removal of trash
- Assisting in tower work (climbing required)
- Ensuring safety standards are met daily
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Climbs and works on communications towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment.
- 2+ years’ experience installing and servicing cell towers and comparable structures
- Ownership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.
- Familiarity with Climber Safety, OSHA or NEC Standards.
- Must be comfortable with travel between 1-2 weeks
