Job description

Anistar Technologies is seeking a Tower Technician to perform maintenance and installation of wireless cell sites.

Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with antennas, necessary cabling and grounding, and GPS equipment
• Electrical installation and testing
• Site maintenance such as painting, equipment maintenance, and clean-up and removal of trash
• Assisting in tower work (climbing required)
• Ensuring safety standards are met daily

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Climbs and works on communications towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment.
• 2+ years’ experience installing and servicing cell towers and comparable structures
• Ownership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.
• Familiarity with Climber Safety, OSHA or NEC Standards.
• Must be comfortable with travel between 1-2 weeks
