Principal Air Quality Consultant
Salary up to £65,000 per annum
We are seeking an exceptional individual with 8-10 years of relevant experience to lead and expand the UK Air Quality team, based in Brighton, London, or Milton Keynes.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, visionary leader to spearhead projects, mentor a growing team, and collaborate with experts across environmental and climatic disciplines.
- Lead and manage large-scale UK air quality projects
- Oversee data collection, modelling (ADMS, GIS), analysis & reporting
- Provide technical leadership and ensure project excellence
- Write ES chapters, technical reports & proposals
- Mentor and support team development
- Contribute to global air quality strategies
- Drive business development and client engagement
- Degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline
- Full knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks for air quality
- Expertise in dispersion models ADMS-Roads, ADMS 6.0
- Strong GIS (QGIS) and data analysis skills
- Experienced in client & regulator liaison
- Full Membership of IES & IAQM
- Proven leadership & mentoring success
- Excellent communication & teamwork skills
- Strong decision-making, organisation & problem-solving
- Detail-oriented with a drive for innovation
- Willingness to travel occasionally (full, clean UK driving licence required)
