The Role:

At Redgate, data is at the heart of how we understand our business, our products, and our customers. We’re looking for a Data Specialist to join our Shared Applications and Services Data team and help us make smarter, evidence‑based decisions.

This is a role where you’ll collaborate widely across the business, influence strategic and operational change, and become an expert in Redgate’s data flows. You’ll help us unlock insights, improve data quality, and empower teams to use data confidently in their day‑to‑day work.

Your Work at Redgate Software:
  • Supporting projects and initiatives with analytical thinking and clear insight
  • Helping leadership teams measure and track KPIs and OKRs
  • Researching and proposing solutions to business problems using strong data analysis
  • Partnering with stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, and beyond to understand challenges and show how data can solve them
  • Evangelising data solutions and guiding colleagues on how to use them effectively
  • Creating dashboards, reports, and analysis to support business processes and decision‑making
  • Working with data sources such as Salesforce, Marketo, Zuora, Halo, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and product usage data
  • Identifying and addressing data quality issues in collaboration with Data Engineers
What You Bring to the Table:
  • Are passionate about turning data into insight and helping others achieve their goals
  • Have strong commercial awareness of sales, marketing, and product functions
  • Bring exceptional problem‑solving, analytical, and investigative skills
  • Are a Power BI professional, confident in semantic models and reporting solutions
  • Have excellent SQL skills and advanced Excel experience
  • Are experienced with BI tools, data modelling, and dashboard/report creation
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical colleagues
  • Are self‑motivated, solution‑oriented, and comfortable working independently or in a team
It’s a bonus if you also have:
  • A degree in a numerate or scientific discipline
  • Experience in e‑commerce, web analytics, or funnel analysis
  • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification
  • Experience with Salesforce or statistical analysis (e.g. R)
  • Background in the software industry
What we offer:

At Redgate, you’ll join a supportive, collaborative environment where data is valued and your work makes a real impact.

  • The salary range for this role is £45,000 – £50,000
  • Flexible hybrid working
  • A culture that encourages learning, growth, and innovation
  • The chance to shape how Redgate uses data to make better decisions
