A leading engineering company near Surrey is seeking an experienced Product Engineer to design and provide technical support for electrical products, specifically focusing on single-phase electrical panels. In this office-based role, you will prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings, conduct functional tests, and collaborate with customers and internal teams to troubleshoot issues. - Experience with testing and faultfinding on electrical panels.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD to create detailed electrical designs.
- Solid knowledge of components and specifications for single-phase electrical panels.
Responsibilities
- Prepare schematic and GA drawings for electrical panels using AutoCAD.
- Provide troubleshooting and guidance to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct functional tests and inspections on electrical panels.
- Investigate product failures to determine causes and suggest corrective actions.
- Contribute to the creation of Product Test Procedures and documentation.
