Job summary
A senior care service is seeking a compassionate Home Care Assistant to provide part-time support to older adults in Cheshunt, Cuffley, and Goffs Oak. Responsibilities include personal care, medication assistance, and companionship. Ideal candidates will have a UK driving licence and be available for flexible morning and evening shifts. Responsibilities
- Visit clients in their own homes.
- Help with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting).
- Support with medication (prompting or administering).
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
Skills
Location: Cheshunt, Cuffley and Goffs Oak
Pay: £12.75 – £13.50 per hour + Paid Mileage + Paid Training
Hours: Mornings (7:30am–2:00pm) and Evenings (5:00pm–10:00pm)

- Visit clients in their own homes (all local to Harlow & Roydon)
- Help with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Support with medication (prompting or administering)
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Build real relationships with minimum 1-hour visits
- £12.75 – £13.50 per hour (double pay on bank holidays)
- Paid mileage between client visits
- Fully paid training, including Care Certificate and ongoing development
- Flexible part-time shifts – ideal if you’re looking for work-life balance
- Work close to home – no long commutes
