- Servicing and fault‑finding on addressable fire alarm systems
- Diagnosing faults quickly and carrying out minor remedial works
- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and responding to reactive issues
- Managing your own schedule and workload efficiently
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating clearly with clients
- Ensuring all work complies with BS5839 and internal quality standards
- Providing remote support – most callouts are resolved over the phone
- Participating in callout rotas (light demand, mostly advisory)
- Proven experience servicing fire alarm systems
- Confident working on networked panels and complex systems
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
- Comfortable working in commercial and high‑end environments
- Full UK driving licence
- ECS card, FIA units, or manufacturer training (desirable)
- Experience with GENT and/or Siemens systems (advantageous)
- Competitive salary: £35,000‑£45,000 depending on experience
