An award-winning professional services firm in the UK seeks a dedicated Global Data Protection Officer to oversee compliance and support data protection initiatives. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in compliance and a strong understanding of data protection laws. Responsibilities include leading training initiatives and advising on data risk management, ensuring adherence to policies and embedding data protection in daily operations.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in compliance, legal, risk, or operational control.

- Experience in assessing and developing DP frameworks.

You will be responsible for fostering a culture of compliance by leading training initiatives, ensuring policy adherence, advising on effective data risk management and embedding data protection into day to day operations.
The successful candidate will need to have significant experience working in a compliance, legal, risk or operational control function, with a focus on data protection, and strong knowledge of DP laws and regulations in the UK, Channel Islands and wider EU. You will need experience in drafting and delivering training to senior management, and experience in assessing and developing DP frameworks for a large and complex professional services organisation.
