Job summary
A leading civil contractor is recruiting for a role at the flagship Netherton Hub project in the UK. The successful candidate will oversee major civil packages such as earthworks and drainage and manage Site Engineers to ensure safe and effective execution of planned works. The role requires an HNC or higher in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and proven experience in major earthworks projects. Accommodation will be provided for candidates traveling from outside the area.

I'm recruiting on behalf of a major civil contractor delivering a flagship infrastructure scheme at the Netherton Hub – the largest earthworks project currently being undertaken for SSEN in Scotland.
- Oversee major civil packages including earthworks, drainage, and internal roads.
- Manage and brief Site Engineers, ensuring planned works are executed safely and effectively.
- HNC or higher in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Proven experience on highways or major earthworks projects (e.g., large‑scale infrastructure, HS2‑type environments).
- EUSR CAT1 & CAT2 training is highly desirable.
- Accommodation provided and paid for if you’re travelling from outside the area.
