BMW Group Plant Hams Hall is a modern, state-of-the-art engine manufacturing facility, located just outside Birmingham, UK. Producing the latest generation of three and four cylinder petrol engines, and precision machining key engine components, the plant has recently celebrated 20 years of successful production. Operating seven days a week, with more than one engine rolling off the line per minute, the plant plays a key role in BMW Group’s global production network, supplying engines for BMW and MINI, including some of the latest plug-in hybrid vehicles.

Join our Assembly team with this exciting Innovation and Digitalisation graduate programme, starting in September 2025. This role offers a unique blend of responsibilities and opportunities, working with state-of-the-art technologies and complex data systems integral to our production processes. • As the recipient of the UK Manufacturer Smart Factory Award 2023, our plantworks withcutting-edge-technologies such as generative AI, robotics, NVIDIA Omniverse, digital twins, and computer vision. Dive into full-stack development and contribute to the creation of sophisticated systems utilizing both cloud and on-premises solutions, with exposure to industry-standard tools such as Apache Kafka. • Generative AI & Computer Vision:Participate in pioneering projects that leverage AI to revolutionize our approach to problem-solving and automation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Academic Excellence:Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related STEM field and on track to achieving a 2.2 or above.
