Job summary
A community support organization in Selby seeks a Youth Employment Advisor to help young people, aged 16-24, transition into the workforce. Qualifications
- Experience with young people, especially those with neurodiverse profiles.
- Ability to engage and support young people in a workplace setting.
- Familiarity with arranging work experience placements.
Responsibilities
- Assist young people in preparing for work and succeeding in their roles.
- Approach local employers for work experience opportunities.
- Support employers in accommodating neurodiverse young people.
- Provide training for travel to work.
- Maintain communication with families.
