A Sunderland clinical pharmacy team is now seeking a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to come aboard and support safe, convenient access to specialist pharmaceutical products for people across the UK.
Leaders in the field, the team supports care for complex pain, health and wellbeing needs, whilst also contributing to ongoing medical research.
As a certified IP, you’ll act as a Prescribing Pharmacist and consult with patients regarding their medication – assessing intervention suitability, monitoring patient progress and outcomes, and providing clinical advice to healthcare partners regarding safe and effective treatment.
You will be fully supported through all necessary training and will join a strong and experienced team in this specialist area.
Hybrid working is available, with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in the office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an IP Pharmacist looking to actively utilise their independent prescribing in a clinical setting, retaining a high degree of patient interaction and professional development in a medical speciality (and in promising research).
This is a permanent, full-time position for a Prescribing Pharmacist.
