A community health service in Launceston is looking for a Registered Nurse for the Older Persons Mental Health Service. This role involves delivering compassionate, quality nursing care through collaboration with patients and health professionals. The position is fixed term, full-time, with a salary range of $78,179 to $105,995, plus benefits like professional development and salary packaging options.

The Registered Nurse - Community
Consistent with ongoing experience, the role strengthens health outcomes through safe, quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals within the defined community practice area.

The Department of Health Tasmania oversees hospitals across the state and provides community health, mental health and primary healthcare services through more than 300 sites.

Fixed term, full time, day worker, up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2026.
Note: hours negotiable with the successful applicant. For a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies.
Salary: $78,179 to $105,995 per annum. Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455 - $105,995 is subject to progression.
In addition, the following allowances may be available: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.
You’ll have access to salary packaging for a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 plus $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year, plus other eligible benefits.
