Are you compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives? We are seeking Care Assistants to join our team, providing exceptional support to clients in their homes and communities across Hedge End.

Training & Development

All new Care Assistants will complete 2 days of mandatory training to prepare for their role. Throughout your employment, you will receive ongoing training and support, with opportunities to be assessed and signed off as competent in key care skills. We also provide specialised ongoing training, including dementia care, to help you continuously develop your skills and deliver the highest quality care.

What We’re Looking For
  • Morning availability (essential)
  • At least 2 evenings per week (essential)
  • Every other weekend (essential)
  • Car drivers with a valid licence & access to own vehicle (essential)
Opportunities Available
  • Daytime Care Assistants – supporting clients with daily living, personal care, and companionship.
  • Waking/Sleeping Night Care Assistants – providing attentive overnight care for clients who require additional support through the night.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting clients with personal care and daily living tasks: Assist clients with activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Help with meal preparation, feeding, medication reminders, and other day-to-day tasks to ensure clients’ needs are fully met.
  • Promoting comfort, dignity, and well-being: Ensure that all care is delivered respectfully, maintaining clients’ privacy and dignity at all times. Monitor health and wellbeing, report any changes, and support clients in a way that enhances their quality of life.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support: Offer friendly and empathetic interaction to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. Engage clients in conversation, activities, and hobbies to support mental and emotional health.
  • Enabling clients to remain as independent as possible in their own homes: Encourage clients to participate in tasks they are able to do themselves, building client\'s trust in their own ability. Assist with mobility, daily routines, and adaptive strategies that help clients maintain their independence safely.
