Title: General Assistant ( Maternity Cover )

Location: Scarborough

Salary: £12.21 per hour Plus overtime pay

Shift Patterns Available :

Monday – Friday 10.30am-7pm – 40 hours term time only.

Located on the coast in Scarborough, this prestigious independent7 day operation boarding schoolcaters for day pupils as well asboarders and staff and includes not only a breakfast, lunch and supper service but also an additional hospitality events

As a General Assistantyou will…

• Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner according to established menus and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
• Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
• Participate in training sessions and meeting related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.

• Ideally have experience working within Education catering
• Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused.
• Fun and enthusiastic
• Have excellent organization skills.
