A UK-based health organization is seeking a committed individual to deliver low intensity psychological interventions and participate in professional training. The postholder will learn and provide psychological therapies as part of a Stepped Care model, requiring attendance at university training and an ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds. The post holder will be expected to work with people with different cultural backgrounds, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.
The post holder will be expected to undertake professional training in low intensity psychological interventions alongside the delivery of psychological therapies as part of the Stepped Care Model. Working at Step 2 the postholder will learn and deliver Step 2 lower intensity psychological interventions.
As an employed learner, the post holder will attend university training in accordance with academic requirements of professional training and will undertake clinical activities and log these to demonstrate learning as commensurate with an applied programme of study.
