A prominent healthcare provider in the United Kingdom is looking for a Specialist Physiotherapist to join their Surgical Rehabilitation rotation. This full-time role entails working across various clinical areas including Trauma and Orthopaedics, with responsibilities that include managing a patient caseload and providing clinical supervision. Candidates are expected to have a recognized physiotherapy qualification and relevant experience, with opportunities for both professional and leadership development offered. Flexibility in hours is required.

An opportunity has arisen within Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, for a Physiotherapist to join our specialist Surgical Rehabilitation rotation.
Rotating on a 9‑month basis you will have the opportunity to gain experience within a broad range of clinical areas. These include Trauma, Orthopaedics, Vascular and community‑based services e.g. ALAC, Cancer Prehabilitation and a community rehabilitation team (VCRS). You must be able to demonstrate the relevant skills, experience and enthusiasm required to work within these clinical areas.
We offer you the opportunity to develop both your clinical and leadership skills and the Physiotherapy department provides full induction, a comprehensive programme of in‑service training, regular appraisal and opportunities for development.
You may be required to work your normal contracted hours flexibly in a variety of different working patterns in response to the needs of the service. For example, this could include working your contracted hours as part of a service model that includes extended days/7 day job plans.
The successful post holder must share our core values and beliefs.
To work alongside members of the multidisciplinary team to deliver physiotherapy services to patients within these specialist clinical areas. This will include patients with multi‑pathology and complex need and those with cognitive and behavioural problems.
The postholder will have responsibility for managing their own patient caseload. They will participate in the on‑call service (overnight and weekends) where they will work independently, managing the respiratory needs of complex critically ill patients.
In addition, they will provide support for the clinical supervision of physiotherapists, student physiotherapists and support staff.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
