A government organization in Belmont is looking for a qualified forensic or clinical psychologist. The successful candidate will conduct risk assessments, offer staff training, and provide therapeutic interventions within women's prisons. The work of the Women's Estate Psychology Service (WEPS) spans core forensic work: completion of complex risk assessments along with therapeutic intervention work, consultancy, training & research, as well as a broad range of safety‑related work within women's prisons and as women transition back into the community.
The successful candidate will undertake a range of responsibilities aligned with the registered psychologist Job Description, with a particular focus on supporting the delivery of staff training to operational teams within the prison and, where required, across other women's prison sites.
Successful candidates must undergo a criminal record check. People working with government assets must complete a baseline personnel security standard check.
