Our client, located in the charming Oxfordshire countryside, is seeking a proactive Technical Specialist to join their experienced and friendly team.

Key tasks

• Managing product specifications and technical documentation and support Food Safety Audits.
• Providing customer technical guidance over the phone and handle and prepare product samples for assessments.
• Plan and oversee product benchmarking and shelf-life testing.
• Reviewing corrective action evidence following audits.
• Collaborating with the team to enhance food safety and compliance strategies.

About you

• A degree in food science or a related field and solid knowledge of food technology, safety, and legislation.
• A minimum of 4years of experience in a Technical role within the food industry.
• Excellent attention to detail strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work to set timescales.
• Assertive and proactive with a strong problem-solving mindset.

The Technical Assistant /Food Technologist position (ref: 8926) is paying c.£30,000 according to your experience.

This role offers plenty of room to grow and develop, if you are ready to make a real impact.

The site is based in Oxfordshire and commutable from Buckingham, Bletchley, Leamington Spa, Witney, Banbury, Brackley, Bicester, Chipping Norton.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
