We are currently seeking a Qualified Electrician for a Commercial Testing Role, based in Exeter, covering the South West Region.

Our client leads in lighting maintenance, LED installation, and electrical compliance testing, servicing over 10,000 sites for more than 80 clients across various sectors, including major UK retail groups.

The role involves mobile work (transport provided), covering a geographic area with all clients within the South West.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, with optional weekend overtime and some work away from home.

About The Role

Perform compliance visits and remedial works in retail, industrial, and commercial settings to NICEIC standards.
Conduct emergency light testing, fire alarm testing, PAT testing, and fire extinguisher servicing.
Lighting maintenance and occasional project work.
PPM maintenance.
Liaise with clients on-site and report to Head Office.
Manage your own geographical area and organize jobs.

About The Person

Fully Qualified Electrician with 2365 NVQ 3 or 236 parts 1 and 2, and 17th or 18th Edition (or equivalent).
Full UK driving license (max 6 points).
PPM maintenance experience.
IT literate; able to use Smartphone/Tablet for communication and reporting.
Able to carry and use steps/ladders for work at height.
Experience in Commercial Testing.
Professional, customer-focused demeanor.
