A fast-growing professional services business in South Manchester seeks a commercial astute individual to manage accounts payable and aid in financial reporting. Candidates must possess advanced Excel and be part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA. The role offers a hybrid working model with three days at the office and two remote.

- Experience with finance systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Aid in preparing monthly management accounts.
- Develop financial and operational risk registers.
- Own and manage the accounts payable side of the company.
- Assist in annual budgets and periodic reforecasts.
- Ensure financial data integrity through reconciliations.
- Prepare payroll reports and VAT returns for review.
- Support during external audits with documentation.

Axon Moore is exclusively partnering with a fast growing, professional services business in South Manchester. Due to continued growth they require a commercial astute individual with strong Excel skills to join their exciting team.
Salary - Circa £40,000
Location - South Manchester
Hybrid - 3 days in 2 working from home.
- Aid in preparing monthly management accounts and assist the Finance Manager in presenting movements or variances to Finance Director as part of month-end finalisation.
- Develop and prepare the financial and operational risk registers, highlighting any key business risks to the FM & FD.
- Own and manage the AP side of the company, liaising with both internal and external vendors.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic reforecasts.
- Ensure financial data integrity through balance sheet reconciliations and control checks.
- Prepare payroll reports & VAT returns for review by the Finance Manager.
- Aid the finance manager with support during the external audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with finance systems preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments with effective communication skills
