Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Zero-hour General Assistant at Northwood HQ, Northwood. The role is permanent, with zero-hours as required and shifts rotating between 05:30 and 20:00. Pay rate is £13.45 per hour, with full training provided.

You will deliver welcoming service to customers and support front-of-house operations. Ideal candidates are friendly with a customer focus, with or without prior hospitality experience; eligibility to work in the UK is required, and security clearance may be

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers.

• Restock goods and ensure displays of merchandise.
• Report feedback, complaints, stock needs, faults or hazards to line manager.
• Perform daily paperwork and keep records as required.
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures.

What you'll do:

As a General Service Assistant, you'll be front and centre in delivering a welcoming experience to our customers. Your day-to-day will include:

• Serve food and beverages to customers
• Clean back of house areas, crockery, and cutlery
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/machines, preparation, and public areas
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services
• Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
• Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during the work
• Perform daily paperwork
• Keeps diligent records as required
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures.

What we're looking for:

• A friendly, customer-focused attitude
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a bonus - but not essential, full training provided
• Must be 18+
• Eligibility to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years (security clearance required)
• Food hygiene certificate - Level 2 desirable. Relevant training will be provided
• Basic numeracy skills.
• Own or reliable transport required due to remote location and limited public transport
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.
