Job summary

Aramark UK is hiring a General Assistant at The Box Café in Farnborough to support a welcoming customer space. The role offers flexible hours with a part‑time contract and 20 hours per week, potentially increasing to 25–30 hours.

You will help serve meals, restock displays and maintain clean, inviting service areas. The position supports development with training and apprenticeship opportunities, with benefits including a free meal on shift, on‑site parking, and pension contributions.

• Previous catering experience desirable but training will be provided.
• Flexibility on shifts and availability will be required.

Responsibilities

• Serving hot and cold meals in line with Aramark brand standards
• Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
• Assist Supervisor with day to day café tasks.
• Clean back of house areas, crockery and cutlery using equipment when trained to do so
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment and public areas
• Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the course of the work

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract type: Permanent,part-time, 20 hours per week, but likely 25 - 30
Shift times: Monday to Friday, flexible, but mostly 8.00am to 3.00pm
