The Role

You’ll work with Year 6 to deliver short, purposeful interventions in reading, writing and maths. You’ll run booster groups, provide 1:1 support, and reinforce exam technique, revision habits and timed practice. You’ll prep simple resources, track impact, and share clear next steps with the class teacher.

The Candidate

You’re a graduate who communicates clearly, stays organised and keeps sessions focused. You can explain concepts in simple steps, motivate pupils, and follow guidance while using your initiative.

Requirements
  • Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
  • Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
  • Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Desire to work in education/with children – Strong interest in KS2 and pupil progress.
  • Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
