Youth Worker - Swindon

Key Information - Youth Worker:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: Full-time, 08:30-15:00 (Term-time only)
  • Pay: 85- 100 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Location: Swindon

We are working with a fantastic specialist school in Swindon that supports students aged 11-16 with Autism and other complex learning needs. The school is seeking a compassionate and proactive Youth Worker to join their dedicated team as soon as possible.

As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and educational development of students. You'll collaborate closely with teachers and mental health professionals, making it an excellent opportunity for those considering a future career in education, psychology, or youth work.



A Youth Worker role will include:

  • Providing classroom support on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Supporting young people with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
  • Promoting emotional awareness and resilience
  • Contributing to and implementing individual support strategies with the school team


The ideal Youth Worker will:

  • Have previous experience working with young people (preferred but not essential)
