We are representing a growing and ambitious training provider who is launching the Level 3 Youth Support Worker Apprenticeship. They are seeking a qualified Apprenticeship Coach who holds a CAVA, TAQA, A1, or equivalent qualification and has knowledge of the Youth Support Worker apprenticeship standard.

Job Title: Youth Support Worker Skills Coach

Location: Hybrid – Remote working with travel (Candidates based anywhere in England will be considered)

Role Overview:

You will demonstrate a strong understanding of working at the appropriate level within a youth work environment. Familiarity with community engagement strategies, local services, and support networks is essential to meet the needs of young people. You should also possess a solid understanding of legal, ethical, and data management requirements to support individuals and communities effectively.

You will be responsible for delivering a varied programme aligned with the required qualification standards, providing integrated teaching, training, mentoring, and development support to learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with employers and learners to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Deliver qualifications across relevant programmes where occupationally competent, following quality processes and in line with the continuous improvement strategy.
  • Maintain a caseload of learners, delivering sector-specific programmes.
  • Support learners to achieve the highest possible result in their End-Point Assessment (EPA).
  • Participate in ongoing self-assessment and quality improvement activities.
  • Work flexibly in the field and across multiple sites as directed by your line manager.

Skills & Experience (Essential unless stated otherwise):

  • Recognised Assessor Qualification: D32/33, A1, TAQA, or CAVA
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET)
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English
  • Up-to-date occupational competence in relevant standards
  • Excellent self-management and workload planning
  • Strong relationship management with learners, colleagues, employers, and stakeholders
  • Customer and employer-focused with a commitment to learner success
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle during working hours
